Financial Literacy by Chichila Branch

we have successfully conducted Financial literacy program and opened the bank account of all the students of government schools of level one (1) of this Chichila Rural Municipality with coordination with Education department, Chichila Rural Municipality . We have collected more than 110 students bank accounts from this program. Specially thanks to Mahendra Rai sir and  Basu koirala (Educations department- Chichila Rural Municipality. Sankhuwasabha) for the coordination for this opportunity .As per the agreement done with Chichila Rural Municipality, students are only allow to the deposit the amount and they can’t withdraw the amount till 10 class. They can withdrawal their amount after passing SEE and they can utilize this amount for their further studies. There is ,parents has  deposited 2,000.00 (Two thousand )and ga.pa has deposited   1,000.00 ( One thousand )as a facility and as a motivation to government schools students in that accounts.

Our main focused of this program is to develop saving habit of the students. Many students want to continue their studies after SEE however due to the financial problem they can’t continue their studies. And through this saving habit they can pursue their further studies.
