Financial Literacy Program By Naldum Branch

We Naldum Branch had conducted a Financial Literacy Program targeting Farmers of Mandandeupur, Nayagaun on 23.01.2025. Nearly forty farmers were presented in this interaction program. The program was scheduled with a view of promoting our agriculture product and services to different farmers who are associated with Participatory Guarantee System (PGS). PGS is one of the local lever organizations working in a group of small farmers of Mandandeupur -3, Kavre with intend of providing different skills, ideas and training of effective and productive farming to its members. Program was held at premises of PGS office at Mandandeupr -3, Nayagaun.

At our request, Prabin Kumar Dahal (Head Microfinance) Sir was also presented during our interaction session. His valuable ideas and experience sharing session was more impressive as it encouraged farmers to get more involved in our interaction session and motivated them to come up with different issues and problems they are facing in their day to farming. This interaction session lasted nearly two hours where session was started with basic information sharing about what bank is all about, its different functioning, awareness of banking fraud and major focus was about our agricultural loan and how farmers can be benefited if they enrolled with us for our agricultural product and services. The program ended up in more effective and productive way as most of the participants involved themselves in interaction session and never hesitate to raise their query in front of us. We believe this program will definitely help us to promote our agriculture loan in near future.
